Balsari Olive Oil company is a family owned company, founded by Ali Balsari in 1980. The company started its business in Izmir, Turkey. In the early years, Balsari was an olive oil bulk-trader and manufacturer. In a short time, it became one of the leading companies in the domestic market. Over the years, it has expanded its business in the international market. Because of its contributions, the company has been awarded numerous times by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce (1984, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1999 and 2001) and the Aegean Region Chamber of Industry (2001).

Today, Balsari still continues its business as a manufacturer and bulk-trader. With a flexible production facility, the company is able to manufacture in retail packs (tins), glass bottles, PET, and PVC. Balsari is still headquartered in Izmir and has expanded to include a sales office in New York.

Balsari olive oil complies with the national and international standards -i.e. EC 2568/91 and all amendments of IOOC and TS341. Our company has a certificate of ISO9000:2001 and HACCP. Our products are Star-K Kosher certified.
